Baby Purees: Ages 6 Months and Up!

For each of our babies, I have chosen to make our own purees at home. Of course, I always keep a few handy store bought pouches on hand for when we’re on the go or ran out before I can prep again. But for the most part, I try to homemake them myself. I like being able to control the ingredients in our baby’s meals, adding extra flavorful spices, and I have also found that it makes transitioning into family meals much easier. (And by that I mean, when it is time for our baby’s to eat what we are eating, the taste, the flavors, the ingredients have all remained consistent for them from the start.)

So here are some of my easy, go-to, puree combinations that I make:

  • Banana + Mango
  • Banana + Avocado
  • Banana + Pear
  • Banana + Mango + Pear
  • Banana + Blueberries + Avocado

  • Sweet Potato + Cinnamon
