We’re Back…Where Did The Time Go?

Oh my GAWD. The last time I blogged was September. GUYS!? Who let me fall off that hard?

The past several months have been, clearly, BUSY. So let’s make the run down easy for you…

• Crazy wedding + family season hit me hard last fall!
• We celebrated birthdays and holidays together with family! (My birthday, my niece, our oldest son, my mom, our oldest daughter, I’m sure I’m missing someone in there…)
• We did all the fall + winter things! Apple picking, eating too much on Thanksgiving, played out in the first snowfall (where Mom was underprepared and had not bought anyone sizes that actually fit), hit the Christmas bars in Wrigley (but this was a first for me!)
• Went to Cancun (just Mom + Dad- hell yeah!)
• Got our youngest son into therapy (which I spent nearly 5 months advocating for!)
• Captured my 100th wedding!
• I attended a photography retreat in 30A, Florida to sharpen my knowledge on all things photography and business.

And ultimately, I’m sure so much more that my fogged mind cannot remember right now.

But, I’m glad to be back! I’m glad to be sharing. I’m glad to be writing again. I took some time, re-shifted focus, and I’m back with a clearer vision of what I want this space to be.

I’m beyond excited for what’s to come in the months ahead. In the midst of all of that busy, I have been working on a project since February 3, 2025. Yup. That’s what Google Drive told me. That was the day I first opened a blank document and began jotting down all of the thoughts I had stuck in my brain.

And it’s finally in the stages where it’s making big movements forward. And while I’ve done so many meaningful things in my career thus far, this might be the one I’m most proud of yet.
